Our philosophy is based on fresh ingredients, artisanal cooking, a vast expertise in Southeast Asian cuisine and above all, love to our field. We slowly prepare everything from scratch in our kitchen and always honor authenticity.
Our menu has intense natural flavors, a balanced serenade of spicy, salty, sour and sweet. Our passion is to perfectly recreate all our culinary experiences while traveling around Southeast Asia. Something we warmly cherished from our Asian trips is the art of social eating. This is also the reason why our dishes are designed to be shared - something different than the classic starter-main-dessert Western eating culture. From Monday to Friday we serve dinner starting at 16.00 o´clock and on Saturdays we are having dinner menu up for grabs from 14.00 o´clock.

You don’t always have to travel far – step into the flavors of Southeast Asia and enjoy lunch in the heart of Helsinki! We add appealing weekly variations to our lunch menu, offering two- or three-course options, or an Express Lunch dish for you to explore our delicacies. Furthermore, if you want to fully experience the tastes and aromas of Southeast Asia, we highly recommend our five-course tasting menu, which showcases a variety of textures and ingredients.
An everlasting trip to the Southeast Asian cuisine certainly kicks off with a refreshing aperitif. Our cocktail list is unique with Farang’s vibrant classics, refreshing mocktails and specialities, seasonally updated by our talented bartender.
Our wine list is a handpicked selection which harmonically pairs with each of our delicious dishes. Of course, we offer beers, non-alcoholic alternatives and we always encourage our customers to try our exclusive Asian teas.
Since we truly care about our customers, we are keen to adapt our dishes to special diets and all kinds of food allergies. All our dishes are mostly gluten-free and lactose-free. We are also able to accommodate most allergies and special dietary requirements in our tasting menus and shared à la carte dishes.
Southeast Asian food is mostly rooted in exotic spices, aromatic herbs and seasonal vegetables, creating the perfect setting for vegetarian cuisine as well. Therefore, vegetarian and vegan alternatives for tasting menus and our à la carte -dishes are always available.
